How do you work out the price for air conditioning installation?+
Every property is different — the right system size, cable runs, switchboard capacity and installation complexity all vary from home to home. That's why we conduct a site assessment before providing any price. We visit your property, measure your space, assess your electrical supply and design the right solution for your situation. After the assessment you receive a written upfront fixed price covering supply, installation, electrical connection and any wall penetrations. No guesswork, no surprises.
What size air conditioner do I need?+
Sizing depends on floor area, ceiling height, insulation quality, window direction, and how many people use the room. As a general guide: 2–2.5kW covers up to 20m², 3.5kW covers 25–35m², 5–6kW covers 40–60m², and 7–9kW is suitable for large open-plan areas. We measure and assess your space during the site inspection to recommend the right capacity — an undersized or oversized unit will cost you more in energy bills and wear out faster.
What air conditioning brands do you supply and install?+
We supply and install Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu General, Samsung, Panasonic, LG, Hitachi, and Carrier. We can also install a unit you've already purchased. During the site visit we'll recommend the best brand and model for your space, budget, and energy goals.
Do you handle the electrical connection as well?+
Yes. We are both ARC-certified refrigerant technicians and licensed Queensland electricians, so we complete the full installation in one visit — including the new dedicated circuit and any switchboard work required. There's no need to call a separate electrician.
How long does split system installation take?+
A standard single split system installation takes 2–4 hours. Multi-head systems with two or three indoor units typically take 4–6 hours. Most residential split system jobs are completed in a single day.
Do you install ducted air conditioning?+
No — we specialise in split systems and don't install ducted. A split system conditions one room or open-plan area using one indoor wall-mounted unit connected to an outdoor compressor. To cool or heat several rooms, a multi-head split runs 2–5 indoor units from one outdoor unit, with each room controlled separately.
How does the site assessment work?+
We visit your property, measure your space, assess your electrical supply and roof access, and design the right system for your home. After the assessment we provide a written upfront fixed price covering everything — supply, installation, electrical connection and any penetrations required. No work starts until you've approved the price.
Can you do AC installation and a switchboard upgrade at the same time?+
Yes. If your switchboard needs upgrading to accommodate the new AC circuit, we'll assess this during the inspection and include it in the same quote. Most jobs are completed in one visit so you're not paying for two separate call-outs.
